Boat tests
Boat acceleration tests use a rolling speed trigger for repeatable starts.
Boat results use 8 MPH rolling triggers (8 to 30 MPH, 8 to 40 MPH where the setup suits it, and 8 MPH to 660 ft) plus Top Speed as a secondary metric. A drifting, rocking boat cannot hold a repeatable standstill, so standing-start boat tests are not offered.
